Days of our Lives 2nd Commentary January 28, 2024
Sloan Petersen, Stefan DiMera, Paulina Price.

In the case of Days of our Lives, everyone has an opinion — and SoapsSpoiler.Com is no different. We watched for five consecutive days. watched the good and the bad, as well as everything between. Here, we are leading with optimism. But, sometimes, we don’t achieve what we desire. Here’s a recap of DAYS in the week that were.

What I’m Feeling This Week: Torn (Sloan Petersen and Xander Cook)

Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) is now my favourite fan of DAYS. Do I really want Sloan to be with Eric (Greg Vaughan)? It’s a no-brainer. Does it seem like she was a travesty to have collaborated together with Melinda (Tina Huang) to get Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) baby? Yes, definitely. I also hope she will expose the whole reality in front of Nicole and Eric as soon as possible (or at the very least, at the time Nicole is returning to town).

It’s fun to watch Sloan confront the difficult challenges within her own life. She’s twisting her body to the inside and outside to make room for Leo (Greg Rikaart) who is a diva who is of the top class. And when they’re together the expressions she displays when Leo makes a snarky comment or three are priceless.

Her disorderly and drunken behavior last week was a huge success too. You wouldn’t think anyone, not even Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) could be able to make Sloan feel intimidated. Sloan. However, she was influenced by the presence of Marlena Evans. She’s extremely fortunate that the great doctor is so patient. But how she walked in the face of Marlena’s gazes of dread at that dinner party is a mystery to me.

This week was a photo shoot. Leo put together with Eric caused Sloan into a frenzy. Sloan is juggling several things at once that could cause a blaze everywhere she goes. With that said I would be thrilled that this story was speeded up slightly. It’s dragging…

For Xander Cook I love Xander Cook but can’t be bothered with the character. Paul Telfer is a charming character, and I love his portrayal of his sexy Xander. As I’ve mentioned before I’m back to the ship along with Xander as well as Sarah after getting off the ship some time ago.

However, I do remember the crimes committed by Xander and there are some that are difficult to erase. Also, I don’t want to see an Xander who is on the upwards and upwards and narrow and straight. I like him shady. It’s like the show is attempting to make him look good (although we’ll see the direction this mystery call takes to) however, I’m still torn on whether I would like to see him forgiven. That’s it.

Other DAYS Thoughts

Daydream Liste: Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) returning to attend Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel’s (Raven Bowens) wedding. I’d like to be there more than anything else. It’s finally time to witness an actual wedding for this gorgeous couple (hopefully in the end). Even though they’re making it small because of the things their families go through, I want the couple to make it an important event.

Please return Lani and Eli and Eli, who are also required to be present since Paulina (Jackee Harry) is battling her own personal crisis. She discovered she had one of the best-managed cancers, however at the time of diagnosis, it’s cancer. She requires the love and support of everyone who is a part of her. Also, Lani along with Eli are her family.

My Best Belief is: We’re all of us agree we all agree that Ava (Tamara Braun) and Harris (Steve Burton) have come up with a strategy to address the current drug crisis, don’t you think? In the shadows in the PCPD interrogation room, where Ava hit Harris after she kissed him?

Ava’s always wanted to talk to Harris since the beginning, even though she’s tried to guard Harris throughout the whole thing and it’s a bit odd given that he’s a police officer who is able to take care of himself. There was enough time to get her hands on Harris and then for them to devise a plan of attack. Now, she’s reenacting yet another fake scene. And speaking of which…

Sorry We’re Sorry, Not Sorry: Ava and Stefan need to stop their kissing. Complete stop. At the very least Gabi is now involved in the fake romance. I’m thankful for that.

Thank you Show: for allowing us to take this Pawn story forward. John (Drake Hogestyn) is already looking ragged and isn’t quite sure what’s going on. Steve (Stephen Nichols) is equally affected but in a different manner. Let’s continue this train.

Showing Support Showing Support: I love Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) who is always present for Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa (Emily O’Brien). I’m not a fan of her continued willingness in giving Konstantin (John Kapelos) the benefit of doubt.

For more details, please click here Listening to Jada (Elia Cantu) divulge a bit more about the man she was married to (AKA Everett Lynch), I’m eager to learn the details of their life in Seattle. Also, I want to know the timeframes and want to know if she actually was in an induced state of coma. When is they along with Stephanie (Abigail Klein) are going to announce names? They have not been able to say “Everett” (Blake Berris) in the presence of one another.

Odd but Warm Apart from some minor snark from time to time the possibility it is that Chad (Billy Flynn), Everett, Xander and Leo can hang out and generally get along is quite refreshing. I’m not convinced that it’s going to last however Chad particularly, when he is acting more maturely is fantastic. Additionally, having Stephanie to the side is more effective. Additionally, Team Everett vs. Chad in the safeguarding Stefan’s interests.
