The opinions expressed by the author about DAYS are only hers. Remember that everything’s built on emotions, regardless of whether it’s correct or not.

Days of our Lives Commentary February 18, 2024

In the case of Days of our Lives, everyone has an opinion. SoapsSpoiler.Com is no different. Over the course of five weeks, we watched the good as well as the bad, and everything between. We are here to have a positive outlook. But we rarely receive what we want. This is a summary of the week of events, including revealing relationships as well as milestone moments or romantic moments, as well as general chaos.

What I Am Feeling This Week: Johnny and Chanel’s Wedding

For the second consecutive week, DAYS is the soap that has brought romance. The romance happened at the same time as guns exploded and the house was devastated by fire. The romance as well as the repercussions of the violence from the drug ring were in competition for attention.

Wednesday – The Valentine’s Day episode — was filled with many, many instances of love and I truly enjoyed it. The most memorable examples were in Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel’s (Raven Bowens) wedding, Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) sharing memories at home as well as John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) in the park.

I posted about it last week and I’m going to say that the three couples I watched caused me to be extremely emotional. Also, the flashbacks of the two couples of old gave the perfect trigger to awaken my fondness for the past. However, I’d like to discuss Chanel and Johnny’s wedding because it provided us with wonderful moments, as well as “huh?” moments.

Johnny as well as Chanel are among the few newer couples who are chemistry-based and loved from the very beginning.

The ceremony overall that was conducted featuring Abe (James Reynolds) officiating it was emotional, sweet and adorable. The vows they made lived up to the expectation. I might or may not have shed a tear.

In particular I would really like that the ceremony didn’t happen in Paulina’s (Jackee Harry) hospital bedside as she waited for her surgery. First, the room was tiny. It was only Abe as well as Paulina. This is Johnny and Chanel’s second wedding.

The couple has progressed a lot, so I think they deserved to have a wedding that was bigger. It was a fitting tribute to their quirky and charming personality. Johnny was the only one who didn’t have a single member of his family to attend the celebrations. Did anyone be aware of the event?

I can tell that the era of grand, epic weddings is over. The most famous wedding of this show was Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal)? Johnny and Chanel did not require a huge “I I Do” moment however, I believe they deserve a larger one than what they got. One that included multiple family members as well as Lani (Sal Stowers) and who is currently in jail. (Meanwhile, Lucas [Bryan Dattilois now out. Now, stop it.)

Whatever, Raven Bowens and Carson Boatman have sold “Janel’s” affection, and I’m hoping that the show will provide them with plenty of material after they’ve got married. It’s material that isn’t associated with a third-party.

Other DAYS Thoughts

Favorite Romantic Non-Wedding Moments: John and Marlena; Steve and Kayla. Like I said the nostalgia of these couples struck me with a hammer. It was great to be able to revisit them in the past. It brought back lots of memories. Additionally, Marlena giving John that “Goes home with Doc” keychain was the best.

Favorite Reunion: Xander (Paul Telfer) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). Xander is back after the “run”. He’s trying to avoid a connection with the woman he’s in love with. But Sarah had no qualms. They bonded in the shower, and later in the bed.

Biggest Buzzkill: Theresa (Emily O’Brien) and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson). They went for a walk during Valentine’s Day and ran into John and Marlena and they invited them to be a part of them. All the time Theresa seemed to be giddy over an idea that would never take place. And Alex behaved like a Valentine’s Day troll. The black, poisonous cloud that hung over Alex threatened to destroy positive energy and peace wherever that he was. Happily, love prevailed at the final. Except not for Theresa. Sorry, Theresa.

The Most Favourite Interruption: Xander and Sarah again. They’re sleeping when police show up and they don’t allow Xander wear a shirt before taking his body into the police station in case of murder. What if they could have waited a few days before they cuffed him? It’s good that Sarah is standing by the man she’s been cuffing this time.

It’s the Horton House Fire the Horton House Fire: I’ve put off speaking about the show that burned down The Horton house. While I’m eager to see how the whole thing unfolds however, it still upsets me. Evidently, it was arson. In reality all I could think about all day was how the Christmas decorations have gone. It’s gone! What is the reason for this? What is the next Christmas set to be? (Checks calendar…with DAYS’s speedy filming schedule, they’ll begin filming holiday-themed episodes soon I’m guessing so.)

Bobby/Everett Drama: I’m so content I am so happy that Jada (Elia Cantu) finally got to see her husband who was cheating on her. We can now be able to move on and dig to the meat of this. Since movement was sorely needed. Unfortunately, this did not take place a few weeks ago. It’s interesting that Jada named Everett, Bobby (both Blake Berris). It’s hard to determine the difference if Everett was averse in any way to this name. It seems like that he didn’t.

Random Thoughts

Never imagined that I’d see Roman (Josh Taylor) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) carry guns to hunt away the mystery men who attempted to murder Lucas. Never.

I really would like to see more real Hortons present to experience the loss. I believe Billy Flynn is doing an excellent job as is Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Doug (the late Bill Hayes), who are expressing the right devastation. However, having more Hortons around was necessary for this to be a success.

Did you realize you noticed that Valentine’s Day episode was roughly 50 minutes long? A lot longer than your usual daytime show.

I’m grateful that Rachel (Finley Rose Slater) was yelling at Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk). Because they’re both ridiculous fighting in a place that Rachel could hear. It’s tough to come back from what Kristen committed to the family of his, which included sexually assaulting Eric (Greg Vaughan).

I’m not able to stand Ava (Tamara Braun) in the chapel. She’s not going to be the hero she is with her great love for Harris. I love Tamara however, the love story between Harris and Ava isn’t quite as satisfying. She’s now crying over his body that is comatose.

The Mole the Mole Goldman (Christy St. John) Isn’t that, right? I’m not surprised that she broke the bad news. I think that viewers were suspicious of her. Let me know the reason and what you did to prove it.

The burning question #1 is how lovely was it to see Arianne Zucker (Nicole) and Ashley Puzemis (Holly) back in Salem?

Second Burning Question: Will we have to place bets on the time Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) is likely to deliver Jude her back Nicole? At the moment, she may even decide to send Eric home to Nicole also. He’s not suited for her style of life. He’s a down-to-earth guy (a tiny bit clueless) and is eager become a father. main of existence. It’s clear that she’s not going to end her flirtatious moments with the photographer. This is what she’s all about.

Favorite Quote #1:

Johnny: “I will give you my full love throughout my days.”

Chanel: “I give you my hand, I offer to you my whole heart and promise you my heartfelt love.”

My #1 Quote: “Time goes by so quickly. It’s true.” (I enjoy every time John says “that’s a fact”)
