Who’s coming and who’s leaving out of General Hospital? Do you have any favorite actors from the past returning to the drama’s daytime programming this week, or in the near in the near future?

The Week of 5 February

Two important characters have departed with the utmost of enthusiasm. Actually, let’s say the word “bang” as they each experienced their “demise” after falling in the Seine River. Avery Kristen Pohl has officially ended her time as the villainous Esme Price.

This actress was able to make her soap debut on the soap in 2021, as the child of one of Port Charles’s most infamous serial killer Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). Later, we learned that her mother was not a different person then Heather Webber (Alley Mills) Another PC villain.

As of now, Nicholas Alexander Chavez is temporarily absent acting as Spencer Cassadine. The actor is currently on absence for GH in order to shoot his character in the role of Lyle Menendez in the Netflix series, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. Chavez is scheduled for a return on the soap after the show is finished. Meanwhile, Spencer is presumed dead following the same leap into Seine with Esme.

Joshua Benard has also completed his role as the troubled student at college Adam Wright. Benard is who is the son real Maurice Benard, who plays Sonny was cast in his recurring role in 2021. The door, however, remains open for his returning at some later time.

William Lipton makes a brief appearance in the role of the Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) son, Cameron Webber, this week. The character, cut off from Stanford University in 2023, returns to town for Spencer’s funeral.

The Feb. 2, 2024, episode GH witnessed the return of Jagger Cates back to Port Charles. The character was created by Antonio Sabato, Jr. in 1992, is now created by Adam Harrington.

ESPN celebrity Stephen A. Smith pops back on the scene as Brick on on February 6. He’ll be sharing scenes with Maurice Benard’s Sonny the longtime boss in the mob. The show is scheduled to be on the air on February 10.
