General Hospital’s Donnell Turner Celebrated His Birthday

When Curtis Ashford and Portia Robinson have to experience the miracle of their upcoming operation at General Hospital, actor Donnell Turner is celebrating a significant milestone.

It’s because the date of his birth was the 8th of January 1973 located in Tacoma, Washington, which signifies that this extremely talented well-known performer was 51 on Friday! Turner discovered his love for acting in his early years which ultimately caused him to take an uneasy choice: pursue an acting career or keep playing basketball, something he’d been doing on an intermediate level.

After much thought, Turner resigned from his team and moved after a lot of deliberation to Los Angeles. In the city, he soon became a highly sought-after commercial artist and model later appearing in more than 100 commercials on television.

Turner was also employed in the production department, and as a body-double/stuntperson for the ER’s Eriq La Salle as well as Criminal Minds’ Shemar Moore. His relationship with Moore was reflected in two cameos in his CBS procedural.

The year 2009 was the time that Turner got his first glimpse of a soap opera’s production schedule when he starred in Days of our Lives as Dr. Aiden Williams. The following shows featured him appearing on 2 Broke Girls, Baby Daddy, Parks and Recreation, 90210, and Dexter.

On the 19th of November the 19th of November 2015 the news broke that Turner would make his debut in General Hospital, an ABC soap General Hospital and he made his first appearance on the show 11 days after. He has played private investigator-turned-nightclub-owner Curtis Ashford ever since.

In addition to his acting career, Turner is a fitness lover who loves, among other things including yoga, kickboxing and firearms instruction. Turner can also be found as a motivational and inspirational speaker. a champion for Autism awareness and the creator of a mentoring programme was named the Turnround Project
