Here’s a list of most notable exit and entrance news from the four dramas on the daytime. Find out which of your favourite actors from earlier times are making a return appearance on the shows you watch or if new actors or actresses are assigned contracts, recurring or day-time roles.

General Hospital

The show announced some important announcements during its primetime special General Hospital: 60 Years of Stars and Storytelling. Steve Burton is headed back to the soap as Jason Morgan. The character of Burton has been “killed in 2021” in 2021, but his body was never found. Following his departure, Burton returned to Days of our Lives as Harris Michaels, a role that he began to play in 1988. The actor has since finished filming for his Peacock soap. The date of his first appearance on GH isn’t yet confirmed.

Bobbie’s (Jacklyn Zeman) funeral brought the face of a familiar character of the past. Brighton Hertford, who once played the role of Bobbie’s adopted daughter BJ Jones, appeared playing Angela Brighton for two episodes. The character was the AP reporter based in Amsterdam who was composing an article on Bobbie. But, later, she was identified as BJ who was an angel.

Ellie Darcey-Alden portrayed Cornelia. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) and Carly (Laura Wright) followed the young woman down in Canada when they learned that Bobbie had aided her escape from human trafficking.

In the meantime, Ryan Carnes wrapped up his time on the character Lucas Jones. The character departed Port Charles after Bobbie’s memorial.

The Days of our Lives

The fan favourite Bryan Dattilo is back at Days of our Lives for an exciting story arc that will be front burner. He’s character Lucas Horton, will play a pivotal role in the plot to hunt off the drug ring that has at the heart of Salem. Lucas has been on television intermittently since his deportation to Statesville prison in 2022.

Arsenio Castellanos uncovered Roy Hulsenkamp, the thug arrested for attempting for a deal to get drugs from an undercover officer. He was initially a part of scene with the likes of Elia Cantu’s Jada along with Steve Burton’s Harris.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Darin Brooks has finally returned on the screen as Wyatt Spencer. The show is scheduled to premiere on the 17th of January, Wednesday. In October, Brooks posted on the internet to reveal his show was taking an absence from The Bold and the Beautiful after viewers noticed that he was not during the program’s first credits.

Naomi Matsuda and Romy Park return to their roles for a second time as Romy Park and Naomi Matsuda clock back in as Dr. Li Finnegan and Poppy Nozawa respectively. The sisters who are constantly at odds will continue their fight on the 17th of January, Wednesday. Park will also air on January 18, Thursday and on Thursday, the 18th and 19th January, in scenes featuring the Don Diamont Bill.

The Young and the Restless

Cait Fairbanks continues to receive more time on the air on the show as Tessa Porter. She is back on January 15, 2019, in scenes that include Camryn Grimes’s Mariah as well as other guests at a party to celebrate Sharon’s (Sharon Case) new business.
