The show The Young and the Restless, Sharon is starting a new chapter with her new company. On screen, her character, Sharon Case, is engaged in celebrating a significant milestone.

This is since she was born the 9th of February 1971 within Detroit, Michigan, which signifies that this talented actress will be 53 today! Although she’s always wanted to become an actor, Case launched a career as a model in the belief that it would be an ideal transition into the world of performing arts.

When she was 17 Case attracted the attention of a scout who offered her a modeling job in Japan. She jumped at the chance and relocating in Japan for five years. After that, she returned Los Angeles and began working in local theater productions such as Grease, The Wizard, and The Nutcracker.

In the month of November 1989, the stunning actress was chosen to play Dawn Winthrop on ABC’s General Hospital in which she stayed for a full year. Then, she appeared in the episodes Doogie Whatser M.D., Diplomatic Immunity, Beverly Hills 90210 Parker Lewis Can’t lose and Cheers.

From November 1992 until the year 1993 Case was Debbie Simon in the CBS soap drama As the World Turns. one year later, following making an appearance in Silk Stalkings, she landed an important role in the syndicated series Valley of the Dolls.

After the show’s end, Case was hired to play Sharon Collins on CBS’ The Young and the Restless as Sharon Collins, replacing incumbent Heidi Mark. The first episode of the show premiered on September 7th, 1994, and she has been in the role for the rest of her life.

Other credits for Case include the critically popular short film Repressions as well as the web-based show Poor Paul, and the independent film Carpool Guy. In addition to her acting work, Case is known for her jewelry collection, Pomp.
